FROM THE EDITOR-IN-CHIEF
Coming soon: the PalmPower Editors' Choice Awards
By David Gewirtz
PalmPower Magazine will be publishing its First Annual Editors' Choice Awards in the January issue, available on January 2. Over the next two months, PalmPower's editors will be looking at all manner of fine hardware and software products, choosing the very best products we think you should consider using with your Palm device.
If you'd like to nominate a product If you're a reader and you'd like to nominate a product you think should be singled out with this special honor, we've put a special PowerBoard link at the end of this article. Click on it and share your opinion. We'd appreciate it (where possible), if you'd include contact information for the product's vendor in your posting.
If you'd like to submit a product If you're the producer of a product you think worthy of an Editors' Choice Award, you should submit it to PalmPower. We require at least two units of each product to be considered. Be aware that only complete, fully-functional products are eligible for consideration. We will not evaluate demos, time-bombed, or otherwise crippled products (you can't imagine how frustrating it can be the night before the journal is due to discover a product you need to run for an article is crippled in some creative way -- we've actually had to drop some articles because we couldn't run a timed-out demo product).
Please send your submissions to Editors' Choice Award Submission, PalmPower Magazine, Component Enterprises, Inc., 1377 US Route 206, PO Box 201, Rocky Hill, NJ 08553. If you prefer to send your products via email, please send them to editorschoice@palmpower.com. If you have questions, you can contact us at info@palmpower.com.
We have to ask those of you who would like to be considered for an Editors' Choice Award to understand that we are outrageously busy. We won't be able to answer personal inquiries or status questions (this means, please don't call us every day and lobby to be the winner).
Stay tuned for January Stay tuned for our December and January issues. Like all issues of PalmPower, they'll have great information you can use immediately. Plus, in January, you'll be able to read all about the PalmPower Magazine Editors' Choice Award Winners. Now there's a great reason to look forward to the new year.
Happy Halloween and Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!
