Throughout the book, icons for Tips, Cautions and Plain English explanations of terms appear at appropriate times. You can't judge a book by its cover, but you can judge it by it's tips and tricks. Some of Steinberg's tips, especially those in the Expense and To Do chapters are quite helpful.

I would have liked to see some information on using the Expense application with Excel, and the Memo Pad with Word. These are fairly basic operations for many business users -- and well supported by the Palm developer community.

Experienced users will probably benefit from a once-through of Sams Teach Yourself PalmPilot and Palm III in 10 Minutes to fill in any gaps they may have about basic Palm usage. For business newcomers to the Palm organizer world (and their friends and family who provide free tech-support) this book is winner.
