PALMPOWER SITE OF THE MONTH
Now you can PliNk! like a PC
By Heather McDaniel

Have you ever wondered where to find a collection of links to view on your Palm device? The PalmPower Site of the Month for January is just that. It's a page made for use with a Palm OS browser or AvantGo.

PliNk! is a collection of links that work well or are designed for viewing on a handheld device. Shown in Figure A, PliNk! is designed as a no-frills listing of those sites. You can view PliNK! by using a modem or wireless connection and a Web browser such as AvantGo, ProxiWeb, or HandWeb.

Never mind what the site does, how did they come up with PliNk! as a name? According to the site, the name PliNk! comes from "plinking" something with your finger. It's short for Palm Links. If you have a cellular connection, with PliNk! you have a poor-man's Palm VII! Best of all, PliNk!, at http://plink.cjb.net is free.
