A question on emailing and feedback on vote mailing (continued)
Having said all that, it's fascinating to sit this side of the pond and watch the drama unfold, especially as it will be our turn in a few months, and I suspect that our turn will be just as critical to us!!
Regards and all the best,
Nick
Editor-in-Chief David Gewirtz responds
I agree. As I told another reader, we're still getting used to this global thing. There are just a few of us here, we rarely leave Princeton, and it sometimes boggles our mind that there are readers not only in the UK, but in some really faraway places. We didn't set out to make our journals international (we just tried to make them interesting), but the nature of the Web is such that there are readers all over.
It's important that we get reminded of this from time to time. It's pretty special that words I wrote late one night to try to be a good citizen are being read all over the world... but with that awareness comes the need to address a much wider audience.
More kind words
I think your reminder to vote was a great thing, thank you. I also wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your service and all the articles you provide.
