Yoga, your Palm computer, and you (continued)

Chakra three: pump it up!
Chakra three is called Manipura, which means lustrous jewel. It's located in the solar plexus and is known as the power chakra. It represents the element of fire and the ego. It rules our personal power, will and autonomy as well as our metabolism. When healthy, this chakra brings us energy, effectiveness, spontaneity, and non-dominating power. The color yellow, carnations, amber, topaz, and tiger's eye are all associated with this chakra.

See Figure J for a picture of YogaZone's yellow shirt, which includes the symbol for chakra three.

Chakra four: love your life
Chakra four, called Anahata, means unstruck. It's also known as the heart chakra. It represents the element air and our social identity and is oriented towards self-acceptance. It is related to love and it's the integrator of opposites in the psyche: mind and body, male and female, ego and unity. A healthy heart chakra allows us to love deeply, feel compassion, and have a deep sense of peace. The color green, lavendar, jasmine, emerald, tourmaline, and rose quartz are all associated with this chakra.

See Figure M for a picture of YogaZone's green shirt, which includes the symbol for chakra four.
