Chakra seven: connect Chakra seven, called Sahasrara, means thousandfold. This chakra is located at the top of the head and is known as the crown chakra. This is the chakra of thought, consciousness, and information. It is our connection to the greater world beyond, to a timeless, spaceless place of all-knowing. When developed, this chakra brings us knowledge, wisdom, understanding, spiritual connection, and bliss. The color violet, the lotus flower, amethyst, diamond, and moonstone are all associated with this chakra.
See Figure B for a picture of YogaZone's violet shirt, which includes the symbol for chakra seven.
