PALMPOWER SITE OF THE MONTH
A resource for handheld users in education
By Steve Niles

With the first day of school right around the corner, I decided to choose EduPalm as August's PalmPower Site of the Month. You can find it at http://www.edupalm.org, and it's pictured in Figure A.

EduPalm is a resource for users of Palm handhelds in education. Roll over picture for a larger image.

According to EduPalm creator Gary W. Ankney, the site is new and still developing, but he feels it already offers a lot for Palm handheld users. Ankney is a computer teacher at Greencastle-Antrim High School in Greencastle, PA.

EduPalm offers advice on choosing a PDA type, and it features a frequently updated table listing all the standard Palm OS devices available in the US. The site also offers how-to articles and links, as well as comments on accessories, downloads, and software.

"Although I offer specialty materials for educators," Ankney says, "I think you'll find EduPalm's appeal and usefulness is broad."

Check it out for yourself at http://www.edupalm.org.

Sent Items Organizer
When you need to file your sent email into their proper folders based on keywords or who it's to. It's also perfect for shared mailboxes.

It also adds a "Send And File" toolbar button while you're composing (similar to the way Lotus Notes used to work) for quick and easy filing.
